Lighterlife Day 2: Ah, thats better.

Author: Fatboy - Categories: Diet, Lighterlife foodpacks, lighterlife - Tags: , , ,

Well after recovering from my hangover yesterday today has been a lot better. I actually feel great from drinking all that water and my skins looking the best it has for ages. I will be writing some reviews of the Lighterlife foodpacks as some are good, some are excellent and some are just atrocious. Strong words Fatboy, strong words.

The hunger has been slightly better and I’m not looking to snack as much as I was yesterday.

I am definitely not getting a Thai Chilli one again. If you are planning on doing this diet I would say try to avoid the thai chilli. You are allowed as much Tobasco Sauce as you like so I’m going to buy some of that tomorrow and going to add it to the Chicken Soup foodpack.

The shakes again have been excellent, I’ve not had time to buy a blender today with work being very busy so I’m going to go tomorrow.

The Doctors Check Up / Getting the Grub

I was kind of dreading the doctors check up that your required before going on the lighterlife diet. This is because last year I had a check up at the doctors and she took my blood pressure 3 times and said it was very high for my age (I was 26 at the time). This was my final check up with this doctor as I was moving house so she just fobbed me off with a “get it checked at your new doctors”.

Obviously being a bloke I never did this and its been in the back of my mind ever since. Well I went today and my blood pressure was perfectly normal. I was well chuffed as I’d been worrying for the past 15 months about it. So that made my day. Well I got my form signed in the morning (£15 for a signature - nice work doc!) which meant I could go and meet my Lighterlife counseller in the afternoon for my foodpacks.

I got weighed (108kg/17stone eek!) and measured up. They measure you around your belly rather than under it so I was 45 inches around my waist! This was a definite shock to the system as I’ve never been over 36inches until pretty recently. Well I hope this thing works I want to fit in my 34 jeans again which I have promised myself I will. I got a few of the foodpacks (Chicken soup, Thai Chilli soup, Banana/Strawberry/Vanilla/Chocolate/Raspberry shakes) - so I’ve got them to look forward to tomorrow :(.

Tonight I am off for my final meal for some time and a few beers. I am going to really, really enjoy it.
